I grew up in Quebec, with my extended family all living on one road. Growing up, my sister and I were taught hunting, fishing, and all activities for each season. As a family, our parents brought us along many adventures; snowmobiling in the north, canoeing, camping across eastern Canada to Newfoundland. It was important to do activities as a family. I had a horse throughout my teenager years, he was my best friend and taught me so many lessons. After Highschool; I back packed Europe, travelled through 13 countries in 3 months, picked grapes at a vineyard in Bordeaux. So many experiences and places I never thought I would be travelling to, it gave me wings. Between 2017-2019, I became a Reflexologist, level 1 Cranio-sacral therapist & Massage Aroma Therapist. I am very thankful for the teachers I came to know and they’re deep passion for the matter we learned. I acquired the knowledge of drum building with a friend and her company travelling alongside her for 4 years giving workshops and building drums in her shop. I have experience as well with a wood lathe for assembling flutes and didgeridoos with another friend of mine. I spent a few years travelling Eastern QC and learning so many rich traditions & meeting so many people along they’re journey into the medicine of drums, flutes etc. Fall of 2021, I decided to go visit my grand mother’s family in Churchill MB. I went to work as a tour guide for their Company Churchill Wild, Polar Bear Tours. I did town tours; spent a few months at Seal River Heritage Lodge with BBC film crew; then Tour Guiding Polar Bear & Wildlife photography guiding, I deeply enjoyed the Hudson’s Bay coast & the wild life was so rich and abundant. I Learnt so much from the Northern land and all the Guide’s, Explorers, Scientist’s, People of the Lands.
I decided to move to Caroline Alberta in March 2022, to where one of my dearest Cousin lives. Since Spring 2023, I’ve been living permanently in Alberta & now have my own little family and homestead. I currently work at Essentials Spa & Wellness at Pigeon Lake and Ferris Health in Bluffton, AB. I decided to take Massage Therapy at Vicars school of Massage in Edmonton, graduating in 2027. I am currently obtaining level 2 Craniosacral therapy as well as Somatic Emotional Release levels 1&2. I have been foraging many plants over the years and using them in my own personal oils and salves. I enjoy growing medicinal plants and flowers, they fill my soul with so much vibrancy & color!
I continue to this day to offer drum building classes here in Alberta; Wildrose Drums. I also prepare my own hides. I enjoy gardening, foraging & creating with my hands my own little projects. Experience is the best flavor in my apothecary!
